The popular mobile phone video game Angry Birds [which recently released a Star Wars-themed version of the game] has not one, but two directors for its upcoming animated 3D movie. Clay Kaytis and Fergal Reilly will share first-time directing duties for the film. Kaytis comes from Disney where he worked on Tangled, Wreck-It Ralph, and the upcoming Frozen, while Reilly comes from Sony with credits on Hotel Transylvania and both Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs films.
Angry Birds will be distributed by Sony and is currently scheduled for a July 1, 2016 release.
